Syria in transition - challenges and prospects
Panel discussion on May 5, 2025 at the TU Dresden
On May 5, 2025, the Chair of International Politics and the Center for International Studies (ZIS) at TU Dresden invite you to a panel discussion on the topic "Syria in Transition - Challenges and Perspectives". The event starts at 6:30 pm in the Potthoff Building (POT/81/H) on the TU Dresden campus (Hettnerstraße 1-3).
The event is supported by TUD im Dialog.
The panel discussion will bring together experts from politics, academia, journalism and the Syrian diaspora to take a differentiated and objective look at current developments in Syria. The focus will be on political, economic and social challenges as well as the role of Germany and the international community.
Special emphasis will be placed on the perspectives of the Syrian diaspora and their assessments of Syria's future. The aim of the event is to create space for in-depth analysis, exchange and discussion.
