Evening School
The John Dewey Research Center for the Didactics of Democracy develops needs-based continuing education programs for those active in the field of extracurricular political youth and adult education. One of these formats is the evening school. Please note that the videos can only by offered in german.
The evening school is a free offer for the self-determined didactic qualification of new specialists in the field of extracurricular political youth and adult education. It is aimed at people who are starting their careers in the field of political education and would like to learn more about how political education can be organized in a meaningful way. The course can be completed with a written exam (as soon as 15 lectures have been completed) and is certified as a form of further eduation ("Weiterbildung").
We make all evening classes publicly available on the YouTube platform. Here you can see with one click which parts have already been published.
However, it is also important for us to point out that both the evening school and the research center are currently still under construction. This means that lectures are being developed bit by bit and no complete course concepts are available at the moment. We will release the lectures as soon as we receive them - this may not always correspond to the order in which they are to be arranged in the future.
