#98 "We bike" instead of beer bike

Who hasn't experienced it - the warm seasons are finally upon us and the hen parties roll through the city on large covered tables with attached bicycle saddles on rolling constructions - sometimes also called beer bikes.

These bikes are often ridden by slightly to heavily intoxicated people who ride through the city roaring. When we see such a bike in the city, we usually have a certain expectation of the behavior of this group rolling along. Not a pleasant expectation, if we're honest. Associations such as toxic masculinity, normatively restrictive relationship constructs, addiction and alcohol consumption come to mind.

Yet the object itself is actually brilliant. You can have fun moving around the city with other people, partying, chatting, laughing and experiencing an adventure together. It brings people together and you really have to work together as a group so that you don't lose your way with this vehicle. How about enriching the object a little with playful conversation impulses that pick up on the topics just mentioned, for example. Of course, transport policy could just as easily be discussed or important biographical places of political socialization of the participants could be visited. In our opinion, the charm of this idea lies in the shared activity and experience in a public space.

It doesn't always have to be a collective booze-up on a beer bike, perhaps we could turn it into a "we bike".
