Didactic commentary
The poster "Freedom - What does it mean to you?" brings together a number of quotes on the topic of freedom and invites you to explore the various facets and aspects of freedom. It can be used in a variety of ways in political education work. It is ideal for moderated use in workshops, but - like most of our giant worksheets - it can also be used unmoderated as a creative giant poster at events or in public spaces. All you need is a little space and dot stickers or a few pens. A small task in this context could be, for example:
Read the quotes and think about what freedom means to you personally. Which aspects of freedom are particularly important to you and how do you experience them in your everyday life? Which aspects do you sometimes neglect? Write your thoughts on a post-it note and stick it on/next to the poster.
Contact someone close to you and invite them to share their thoughts on this question with you.
