Experience abroad with Erasmus: APPLY NOW!
By the end of February, all those interested should take the opportunity to seek advice from their Erasmus coordinators and then submit their applications for the entire academic year by the deadline. Erasmus offers you the opportunity to gain valuable experience abroad for 3 to 12 or 24 months during your studies or doctorate (repeated funding is possible).
For incoming students: Submission of transcripts of records
International students of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science are requested to submit the transcripts of records of the courses they have attended and examinations they have taken to the Erasmus coordinators of the Institutes by the end of February at the latest . The transcript of records will be sent by post to the address provided in April . Further information on important forms can be found here.

The Cultural Office of the AAA arranges tandem partners: if you would like to improve your language skills with the help of native speakers, make contact with international students and get to know other cultures, you can find more information and various options for finding a tandem partner on the Cultural Office website .
Credit allocation for incoming students
A total of 20 - 30 ECTS should be earned per semester. An individual number of credits can be agreed in consultation with the coordinator of the home university and the respective Erasmus representative in Dresden.
Exchange students of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science do not have to take any modules. However, the different achievements are assessed with a different number of credits. These can also be adjusted in consultation with the Erasmus representative or the respective lecturer. As a rule, credits are awarded on the basis of these guidelines:
