Bookmarks/Favorites:
Give you easy and quick access to frequently used web pages. You can manage your bookmarks by creating folders and subfolders. Saving bookmarks differs slightly between Internet Explorer and Netscape.
History/Verlauf (Strg+h):
Provides a list of all recently visited web pages.This is quite helpful if you want to go back to a web page you visited earlier that day or even the day before.
URL:
Uniform Resource Locator Internet address of a web page.

TLD:
Top Level Domain last item of a web site's URL which is either collective (e.g. .edu, .com) or stands for a country code (.uk, .de).
