Transcript of Records

All courses taken by international students at TU Dresden and the credits earned are recorded in the Transcript of Records (ToR).

How many ECTS you will receive for a course must be requested in advance from the respective lecturer.

To take examinations as an exchange student at TU Dresden, you do not register online. You discuss individually with the lecturers which examinations you will take and on which date. You then have the respective lecturer fill out and sign the Leistungsschein (grade certificate) for each course. For the transcript of records, you send all transcripts of records together to after your semester. As the correction of seminar papers in particular usually takes some time, you will probably no longer be in Dresden when you receive the results of your work. This is not a problem - the Transcript of Records will be issued and signed digitally and can also be sent to an alternative e-mail address after your stay at the TUD.
