1. Placement
To select the suitable language learning seminar, a placement test is compulsory for students with prior knowledge of French. The next placement test will be conducted by Dr. Hildebrandt, French teacher at the Institute of Romance Studies. Please register by the E-Mail: martina.hildebrandt@tu-dresden.de and bring your language certificates or placement test certificates, if you have them.To ensure you are placed on the correct course at the Languages and Cultures Teaching Centre, you must do an online placement test. 2. Module allocation
For the elective module in French, EuroS students may attend the language learning seminars at the Institute of Romance Studies. Courses at the Languages and Cultures Teaching Centre (LSK) can also be used, especially for the Breakthrough I, Waystage II, and Threshold I (CEFR A1, A2 and B1) modules.
The language course attendance requirement for each module is 4 hours per week for one semester (4 SWS), either as a double course (e.g. French Language Tutorial I) or as two separate courses. Please note that if two separate courses are taken, only one of the two examinations (oral or written) can be taken.
