The degree program begins only in the winter semester. There are no tuition fees for this degree program.

Admission to the Master’s program “Literature, Culture and Societal Change” is open (no admission quota), but includes a selection interview with each applicant to assess suitability. The approximately 20-minute suitability interviews with two professors from the degree program take place every year between July and mid-September at TU Dresden. Please fill out the registration form for the aptitude assessment and send it as soon as possible via email to the program administration, along with the following documents:
- High school diploma
- Transcript of your most recent degree or confirmation of having earned 80% of the required credits in your current program
- Proof of English proficiency at level B2, if this is not evident from the high school diploma (e.g., if English was dropped before 12th grade)
The aptitude interviews for applicants will take place online via Zoom. The dates will be announced via email by the Student Advising Office.
