Information for applicants

Enrollment is only possible at the start of the winter semester. There are no tuition fees for this degree program.

Detailed information on application deadlines can be found in the TU Dresden Student Information System (SINS). Please note that the application deadlines differ for domestic applicants and international applicants.

Admission to the Master’s program “Literature, Culture and Societal Change” is open to all applicants (no enrollment cap), but includes a selection interview to1 with each applicant. The aptitude interviews, which last approximately 20 minutes and are conducted by two professors from the degree program, take place every year between July and mid-September at TU Dresden. Please fill out the registration form for the aptitude assessment and send it as soon as possible via email to the program office, along with the following documents:

• High school diploma
• Transcript of your most recent degree or confirmation that you have earned 80% of the required credit points in your current program
• Proof of English proficiency at the B2 level, if this is not evident from the high school diploma (e.g., if English was dropped before 12th grade)

The aptitude interviews for applicants will take place online via Zoom. The dates will be announced by the Student Advising Office via email.
