Student Representatives

Students at TU Dresden are represented by the StuRa of TU Dresden.
IHI Zittau also has an annually elected Faculty Student Council.

The IHI Zittau Faculty Student Council was reconstituted in January 2026 as follows:

Andrew Osei Owusu Sekyere (Ecosystem Services) - Chairman of the Faculty Student Council

Kanu Priya (Organismic and Molecular Biodiversity) - international affairs
"As an international student, I know that studying in a new country brings both exciting opportunities and real challenges. I am here to support you with academic and social integration, help you navigate the German education system and strengthen communication between students and the university."

Sourabh Meena (Ecosystem Services) - Ambassador of the FSR in the TUD Stura

Lydia Ellen George (International Management) - Head of Organization, Event Planning and Social Media
"I am an International Management student with a local background. I am responsible for organization, event planning and social media.
I love connecting students, bringing ideas together and making our campus life more visible.

Róbert Bogdán ( International Management) - Finance
"As an international student, I know how important it is to build a strong student community. That's why it was clear to me that I wanted to apply to be a member of the Student Council.
In my position as Head of Finance, I contribute to the smooth running of processes and do my best to distribute financial resources.
