CENTRAL EUROPEAN CAMPUS NISA/NEISSE is a "Lighthouse project" of TU Dresden!
TU Dresden is constantly developing into a global university for the 21st century. On the way to this goal, many steps will be taken and numerous initiatives will be initiated or further developed. A global university is not only characterized by large, university-wide flagships, but also and not least by internationality on a broad scale. Therefore, it is central concern of the Extended University Executive Board to recognize and make visible the international activities, networks and partnerships of the decentralized levels in their importance for the university.
At the beginning of this year, a selection process has been launched to identify and uncover the - often hidden - decentralized international treasures at TU Dresden. A large number of proposals were submitted, which were evaluated together with the five Schools, and eventually selected by the International Commission in September 2021.
Among 78 applications, 22 exceptional partnerships, networks and programs anchored at Faculty or School level have been selected by the International Commission as new "lighthouses". They will now be made more visible internally and externally and, where necessary and possible, further promoted. Every two years, the Commission will evaluate these “lighthouses”, and further proposals can be submitted. Internationalization is always a dynamic process!
All twenty-two selected partnerships, networks and programs are presented on the following website: https://tu-dresden.de/tu-dresden/internationales/dezentrale-partnerschaften-netzwerke-und-programme.
