Studying at the Chair of Power Electronics
In many areas that depend on the application of electrical energy, the use of power electronic circuits to increase the energy efficiency and/or the functionality of the system is currently being tested or introduced.
Some applications were only able to establish their current importance through power electronic circuits: The infeed of electrical energy from regenerative energy sources, the introduction of electromobility in bicycle and automotive technology, energy-efficient lighting based on LEDs.
