Professor Andreas Arndt was appointed to the Chair for System Integration and Scientific Instrumentation at the Institute of Solid State Electronics (IFE) on Oktober 1st, 2023. He is also Deputy Director of the Kurt-Schwabe-Institute for Measurement and Sensor Technology Meinsberg e.V.( www.ksi-meinsberg.de).
His expertise lies in the field of autonomous sensor technology with a focus on medical technology applications. He is dedicated to the system integration of sensors, low-power electronics, the data connection of sensors and the modeling of systems with integrated sensor technology.
In teaching, Prof. Arndt gives the lecture on “Cardiac assistance systems” in the „Autonomous and cooperative medical devices“ module (see https://tu-dresden.de/ing/elektrotechnik/ibmt)
