Arrival

The Faculty of Computer Science is located in the area of the main campus in the south of Dresden. Take the stop "Münchner Platz" if you travel by tramway 3, or the bus stop "Helmholtzstraße" if you arrive by bus number 85.

Travel by train

Starting from Dresden Hauptbahnhof please take the tramway 3 in the direction of "Coschütz". Get off the tram at stop "Münchner Platz") and go straight ahead the "Georg-Schumann-Straße" uphill to the "Nöthnitzer Straße". Then, the Faculty building is located on the opposite side of the street. (If you arrive at the station "Bahnhof Dresden-Neustadt" you can also take the tramway 3 in the direction of "Coschütz".)

Travel by air

Starting at Airport Dresden-Klotzsche, take the train "S-Bahn S2". There is a train stop in the basement floor of the airport building. Get off the train at the station "Bahnhof Dresden-Neustadt". From there take the tramway 3 as described above. If you go by cab right from the airport you will need about 30 minutes to the faculty building.

Travel by car

Coming from the Autobahn A4 turn into the A17 at the motorway intersection "Dreieck Dresden-West". Go ahead in the direction of "Prag". Leave the motorway at the exit called "Dresden-Südvorstadt" and follow the street "B170" to the city center. About 1km after the yellow town sign "Dresden" there is a big intersection where you turn left into the "Nöthnitzer Straße" (follow "Plauen" on a white traffic sign). Then, the faculty building is located on the left side after about 500m.
