Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Inf. Florian Niebling

Florian Niebling was a senior research scientist working at the chair for Software Engineering of Ubiquitous Systems (SEUS) at the Technical University of Dresden. He worked as a coordinator of the SEUS group in the research project VICCI.

From 2005 to 2012 he conducted various national and international research collaborations in the field of visualization of large datasets at the High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS). From 2009 to 2012 he was working as the deputy head of the visualization group at HLRS where he coordinated the research project "Visualization in Parallel Manycore Environments".

His research interests include the software engineering of complex systems in parallel and distributed computing environments, as well as the scalable post-processing and visualization of large datasets.
