The regulations contain
- in addition to the actual text of the statutes
- the module descriptions (preliminary), which define the structural and content-related details (competencies to be acquired, forms of teaching and learning, the examination(s) to be completed for the successful completion of a module, etc.) of the modules to be completed as part of the degree program, and
- the study schedule (preliminary), i.e. a recommendation as to which modules should be completed in which semester so that the course can be completed within the standard period of study.

In order to successfully complete your studies, you must pass the examinations specified in the module descriptions. Regulations on the assessment of aptitude (aptitude assessment regulations)
Admission to the Master's degree program depends on the one hand on the formal requirements (these are checked by the Admissions Office or the International Office of TU Dresden) and on the other hand on the existence of subject-specific requirements. The aptitude assessment regulations - published in the official announcements of TU Dresden - regulate the procedure for subject-specific admission and specify the requirements that an applicant must meet in order to be admitted to the Master's degree program.
