Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ivan Gudymenko
"In my new role as Honorary Professor, I would like to build on my long-standing relationship with the Faculty of Computer Science and pass on my experience from industry to students. The world of IT security is constantly changing and companies must be able to respond to the new challenges in order to remain competitive. Keeping the balance between tradition and innovation is challenging and I see it as my task to give our students guidelines with practical examples of how to deal with this. I therefore not only want to shed light on the classic aspects of applied IT security, but also address innovative topics that are highly relevant in practice."
