IT Security in Cloud Computing
The module provides an introduction to the fundamentals of IT security in cloud computing. It explains typical methods and approaches used in practice that make it possible to assess both the overall security posture and specific risks, as well as to implement appropriate countermeasures. Among other things, threat analysis is introduced as a technique and practiced hands-on. In addition, innovations in the field of IT security are presented, such as Confidential Computing, Zero Trust, and Self-Sovereign Identity. This theoretical part is complemented by practical case studies that illustrate real-world examples where the presented methods and techniques are applied. Data protection considerations in the cloud are also introduced and supported with practical examples.
