Description

In the project area "Theoretical Computer Science", students will work on a scientific topic under the guidance of a member of the Chair of Automata Theory. The goal is to get acquainted with the principles of scientific work. This includes, depending on the topic, a literature review, the development of original research results, as well as implementation work. If the topic includes an implementation, it should be well-structured and -documented. The successful project is concluded by a written report (~15 pages) and an oral presentation (~30 minutes).

Topics

Individual topics will be handed out after contacting Stefan Borgwardt. This should happen until 31.10.2019, since the project has to be concluded within one semester.
