Equal opportunities
Equal opportunities means that people have the same chances to realise their notion of a good life irrespective of their gender, territorial or social origin or individual living conditions. In an increasingly complex work, research and study environment TU Dresden would like to offer all students and staff a variety of opportunities to make full use of their potential.
Due to the low share of women, equal opportunities work at the Faculty of Mechanical Science and Engineering primarily focuses on supporting women at all stages of their careers. On the other hand, the reconciliation of professional and family life is a subject that also increasingly concerns men.
