TU Dresden launches call for papers for international textile conference ADD-ITC in November 2026 in Dresden
The Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM) at TU Dresden is launching the Call for Papers for the Aachen-Dresden-Denkendorf International Textile Conference (ADD-ITC) 2026. Experts, researchers and young talents are invited to actively participate in the conference program and submit abstracts for presentations until April 30.
On November 26 and 27, 2026, Dresden will once again be the meeting place for the international textile industry. The ITM invites you to the Aachen-Dresden-Denkendorf International Textile Conference 2026, one of the leading European conferences for textile technologies and fiber-based high-performance materials. Under the umbrella of the Aachen-Dresden-Denkendorf "textile triangle", the conference regularly brings together over 600 participants from industry and science. This year, the focus is also on Poland and the Czech Republic as partner countries.
ADD-ITC 2026 addresses key topics for the future of the industry, including
- Sustainable polymer material systems and recycling concepts
- Innovative machine and plant technologies for composites
- Protective and functional textiles
- Digitalization, AI and Industry 4.0
- Technology transfer from research to industrial application
We are particularly looking for practical, innovative and scientifically sound contributions that provide new impetus for the textile value chain.
Companies in particular are invited to contribute their innovations and best-practice examples. A special highlight: first-time speakers from the industry can attend the conference free of charge.
Presentation ideas can be submitted in the form of an abstract until April 30, 2026. An advisory board will review and evaluate the submissions anonymously and select the best contributions for the conference. Poster contributions are also welcome. The submission deadline for these is August 15, 2026.
All accepted contributions will be published in the Book of Abstracts. There is also the option of submitting a long version for publication in the Springer conference proceedings (with peer review).
The ADD-ITC stands for intensive exchange along the innovation chain, from the idea to industrial application, and offers a unique platform for networking and technology transfer.
