Forming processes through the ages

Professur Formgebende Fertigungsverfahren
Die Professur Formgebende Fertigunsgverfahren ist eine der aktuell sechs Professuren des Instituts für Fertigungstechnik. Sie ist hervorgegangen aus dem Lehrstuhl für Um- und Urformtechnik sowie der Arbeitsgruppe Produktionsautomatisierung, Zerspan- und Abtragtechnik (PAZAT). Die Professur ist Mitglied im Produktionstechnischen Zentrum Dresden (ProZeD). Die Lehr- und Forschungsarbeiten umfassen die Hauptthemenfelder der Fertigungstechnik
- Urform- und Umformtechnik
- Technologien der Trennenden Fertigung
sowie
- Fertigungsplanung / Teilefertigung
- Produktionsautomatisierung.
Entsprechend diesen Arbeitsgebieten sind zwei Abteilungen als strukturelle Gliederung der Professur aktiv:
- Abteilung Ur- und Umformtechnik (U²T)
