1st German-Brazilian Workshop on Computational Mechanics

After 20 years of spontaneous collaborations between several research groups from Germany and Brazil and with the intention of creating a more intense and permanent cooperation on the field, on February 19th and 20th, 2018 will be held at the Polytechnic School of USP the 1st German-Brazilian Workshop on Computational Mechanics with the presence of 40 researchers from both countries.

The workshop is supported by the Polytechnic School at University of São Paulo (EPUSP), the “Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft” (DFG) and the Brazilian Association of Computational Methods in Engineering (ABMEC) and will take place at the Francisco Romeu Landi Auditorium of EPUSP, in the São Paulo Campus.

The workshop is open to professors, researchers and postgraduate students from universities and research institutes in both countries. The workshop is especially interesting for researchers in civil and mechanical engineering, applied mathematics and physics as well as industrial researchers.
