Das Institut stellt sich vor
Das Institut für Verfahrenstechnik und Umwelttechnik besteht aus den folgenden sechs Professuren und Arbeitsgruppen, die verschiedene Fachgebiete abdecken:

- Professur für Energieverfahrenstechnik (Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Beckmann)
- Arbeitsgruppe Mechanische Verfahrenstechnik (PD Dr.-Ing. habil. Frank Babick)
- Arbeitsgruppe Systemverfahrenstechnik (Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Leon Urbas)
- Professur für Transportprozesse an Grenzflächen (Prof. Dr. et Ing. habil. Kerstin Eckert)
- Professur für Wasserstoff- und Kernenergietechnik (Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Antonio Hurtado)
Das Institut für Verfahrenstechnik und Umwelttechnik ist zudem Mitglied im Kompetenznetz Verfahrenstechnik Pro3 e.V. (www.verfahrenstechnik-pro3.de).

Sustainability and innovation through excellent research
The Chairs and working groups at the Institute of Process Engineering and Environmental Technology cover a wide range of different research areas. Our Institute is a dynamic institution dedicated to researching and developing innovative solutions to the challenges of our time. From chemical process engineering to energy process engineering, from mechanical process engineering to systems process engineering: we cover a broad spectrum of specialist and research areas.
With a dedicated team of professors, working group leaders, Research Associates, laboratory technicians, technical staff and administrative employees, we strive to drive sustainable processes forward. Together, we work to develop and implement innovative solutions that make a positive contribution to sustainability and promote a circular economy . Our goal is to push the boundaries of knowledge and develop practical solutions that make a real difference in the world.
