"Application-relevant characterisation of powders and suspensions"

The first cooperation seminar between the Research Group of Mechanical Process Engineering and Anton Paar Germany on the application-relevant characterisation of powders and suspensions ended successfully after two instructive and exciting days. The participants could refresh their knowledge on the basics of particle characterisation and the most important analytical techniques. They were also introduced to various examples of applying methods of particle characterisation for the optimisation of processes and products. The seminar included a visit to our laboratory, the centre of particle technology / granulometry, and an interactive workshop on the development of prepartive methods and data interpretation. All participants used the opportunity to consult the experts and to connect with each other. In total, the seminar was considered as rewarding event with an open-minded atmosphere. Last but not least, all enjoyed the dinner in Sophienkeller.
