M2BRIDGE-DCIM Summer School 2024

We invite interested graduate students and phD students to participate in the M2BRIDGE-DCIM Summer School on Crash and Impact of Aircraft Structures with Function and Sensor Integration. The summer school will take place from June 26th to June 29th, 2024 in Dresden, Germany, at the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) of the TU Dresden. Learn more

Philip J. Steinbild, research associate in the Expert Group Functional Integration at the ILK, is researching cracks in carbon fibers and strain sensors in Patras in April 2024. He also shared his expertise on composites and the latest research results from the LuFo project MonStrain with the first-year students in a lecture serie "Material Science 2". Learn more

Join Johanna Maier's 3D Printing Class at UPAT

Dipl.-Ing. Johanna Maier (ILK/TUD) held a lecture and a workshop on 3D printing at the UPAT. She shared the ILK's experiences and tips on multi-material design with 3D printing, introduced the use of the M2BRIDGE project printer in UPAT teaching, and laid the foundation for joint TUD-UPAT teaching under the M2BRIDGE umbrella. Days of Cooperation of the University of Partas and TU Dresden

The "Days of Cooperation" of the TUD Dresden University of Technology (TUD) and the University of Patras (UPAT) took place on November 2nd and 3rd. The networking event brought together not only the M2BRIDGE project team in Patras, but also an impressive number of students and PhD students from UPAT interested in exchange opportunities between the two universities.
