M2BRIDGE Summer School 2025 in Patras
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of "Engineering for Sustainability in Lightweight Systems" and learn about methods, approaches, technologies and application examples for new sustainability-oriented product and system development. A special focus will be on the consideration of the entire value chain and the product life cycle of lightweight engineering systems in order to enable a resource-efficient use and handling of lightweight materials. Be part of the M2BRIDGE Summer School 2025 in Patras (Greece), learn more about the latest developments in this field and exchange ideas with Greek and German experts from industry and science. In addition, the cultural supporting program in historic Greece underpins the summer school and shows the possibilities and opportunities of a social, industrial and technological transformation.
The German-Greek project M2BRIDGE of the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK), TU Dresden and the Department of Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics (MEAD), UPAT is organizing an exciting summer school on questions of sustainability-oriented design, layout and handling of lightweight construction systems from 23 to 26 September 2025. Participation for students is limited to a total of 20 places for ten excellent students/doctoral students from TU Dresden and UPAT respectively.
Applicant profile and application procedure
You are a student or a PhD student at the TU Dresden or one of the Dresden-concept partners in the field of mechanical engineering, materials science, simulation or test engineering? Do you have scientific interests that overlap with the main topics of the M2BRIDGE Summer School 2025? – Then we are looking forward to your application!
Applications will be accepted from 10 February 2025.
