Since 2014, the TU Dresden has been conducting interdisciplinary research on the development and implementation of the monolithic, formwork-free and continuous concrete 3D printing process CONPrint3D® (Concrete on-site 3D Printing), which was awarded the bauma Innovation Award 2016. So far, the focus has been on the design of machine technology and material properties. As part of the digiCON² (digital concrete construction) research project, an optimized data management system to control the overall process is to be developed on this basis. Data controlling is guaranteed with the help of BIM (Building Information Modeling).
