Joint project "OekEffDatA"
The OekEffDatA research project aims to improve the energy efficiency of pneumatic drive and vacuum technology and thus minimize its environmental impact. A key aspect of this is the development of real-time capable methods for predicting and detecting typical fault conditions such as leaks and wear.
The development of such methods is data-based. To this end, numerous fault-free and faulty scenarios are examined directly on the industrial partners' customer systems and the collected data is evaluated using machine learning. System monitoring is to be carried out with the minimum number of sensors required.
In addition, the project will carry out ecological balancing of pneumatic systems and develop a design method for pneumatic drives and vacuum systems, taking into account their technical performance and TCO.
The research work presented was carried out within the project "Data-driven system monitoring and design to ensure ecological efficiency in operation (OekEffDatA)" (funding codes 03EN4050A to 03EN4050E), which was funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection.
