Studies Processing Technologies
Im Studium des Verarbeitungsmaschinenbaus stehen Verarbeitungsmaschinen und Verarbeitungsverfahren für Naturstoffe im Mittelpunkt unserer Lehre. Das Angebot richtet sich vor allem an Studierende der Studiengänge Maschinenbau, Verfahrenstechnik und Naturstofftechnik der Fakultät Maschinenwesen, wobei auch Studierende anderer Fakultäten teilnehmen können.

Processing technology: Efficient and ecological solutions for production
Processing Technology focuses on the development of innovative processes, machines and systems for the production, packaging and recycling of everyday goods. Its aim is to find technological solutions that prove themselves in a dynamic field of tension between the global supply situation, ecological and economic sustainability as well as demographic and social challenges.
We teach this content in the Mechanical Engineering, Process and Natural Materials Engineering degree program and in the university-wide Studium Generale.
