The preparatory course provides new students with the most important foundations before starting to study - especially in mathematics - so that they can start their engineering studies well prepared.

The School is internationally very well connected and has contacts with numerous foreign colleges and universities, among them 135 Erasmus partner universities, and industry partners. For example, students can participate in an exchange program with the Tongji University in Shanghai (China). In addition, selected courses of study offer double degree possibilities, for example in France, the Czech Republic or Ukraine.

In the Study Information System you can search for courses of study according to various criteria and then view descriptions of the resulting academic programs. The Academic Affairs Office Engineering Sciences is the starting point for questions concerning the organisation of studies, for study programmes in the School of Engineering Sciences. Here, the Examinations Office, as well as Study Programme and Course Management, take care of the organisational and administrative processes that make a successful course of studies possible.

The TU Dresden has worked intensively over the last two years on an overall concept for the support of your academic success. As part of the program »Uni testen« (Give University a Try) you can take advantage of various offers at the Technische Universität Dresden to find answers to these questions.
