Application Process

Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled at one of the Research Experience Program's partner universities to be eligible to apply for the program.

Students must apply directly to the international office of the partner university with the following documents:
- Transcript of records
- Curriculum Vitae
- Motivation letter naming the department and academic supervisor where he/she wants to carry out his/her research

The application deadline is usually in December/January of each year. The International Office of the partner universities informs the students about the program and the exact application deadline.

Sucessful candidates will be contacted by the academic supervisor they aplied to in February/March in order to draw up a working plan and to arrange a period between mid-May and mid-August for the research stay.
After this they will be officially accepted into the program and the international office of TU Dresden will assist with all organisational and adminstrative steps to prepare the stay. The participants will be offered a room in the international guesthouse.
