The UNU-EHS and the Geographical Institute of the University of Bonn are cooperating in research and education in terms of climate, water and environmental risks. During the lecture at the 11th of November 2020, Prof. Dr. Mariele Evers of the University of Bonn and Dr. Zita Sebesvari and Dr. Yvonne Walz of the UNU-EHS will share insights of their cooperation within the project Climafri, in which they work together with an international consortium on the challenges connected to flood hazards in the transboundary Lower Mono River catchment of Togo and Benin. Furthermore, they will illustrate how education is connected with their research regarding a joint Master study program and discuss needs and challenges in future research.
