ERASMUS+ mobility with partner countries

Funding
Erasmus+ with partner countries (KA171) offers German universities the opportunity for academic exchange and cooperation with almost every country in the world - the partner countries.
The following exchange measures are funded:
- Study visits by Bachelor's, Master's (including diploma/state examination) students and doctoral students with durations of at least 2 to max. 12 months or as blended mobility with at least 5 to max. 30 days physical stay combined with an obligatory virtual component
- Stays of university members (academic and non-academic staff) for teaching, further education and training of at least 5 days up to a maximum of 30 days depending on the funding currently available.
- Internships (min. 2 months)
Depending on their own strategic priorities, European universities can submit annual applications for quality-oriented exchange measures with partner universities in the so-called partner countries (non-EU). In the current Erasmus+ program generation, the focus of applications is on the target regions of Sub-Saharan Africa and the Western Balkans. We therefore expect particularly high chances of approval for cooperation applications with universities in this region.
