Dresden, May 2016: In the current issue of the Dresden Transfer Bulletin, the publishers focus on the topic of “Biotechnology”.  Prof. Gerhard Rödel, TUD’s Vice-Rector for Research, attests that the Bio-sciences at the University of Excellence have had a persistent and steady development over the past years. The research areas of Life Science, Bioengineering and Biomedicine had a profile building effect and provided strong impetuses for cooperation and internationalisation.

Felix Lenk meticulously work on the “smart lab” of the future. “hypep” – the road to blood pressure regulating foods: Scientists at the Chair of Food Engineering use a patented hydrolysis process in order to extract effective peptides from whey.
