Connected Partnerships
EUTOPIA Partnerships are independent initiatives within the EUTOPIA Alliance. They bring together at least two partner universities to jointly develop educational, research, or innovation projects. The following partnerships are currently active at TU Dresden:
Narrativizing Mental Health and Care: Transnational and Transdisciplinary Methods, Theories, and Perspectives
Leads: Prof. Dr. Cornelia Wächter, Prof. Dr. Carsten Junker & Prof. Elizabeth Punzi (GU)
Contact:
This interdisciplinary partnership between TU Dresden and the University of Gothenburg explores narratives of mental health, well-being, and care, encompassing both lived experiences and fictional or artistic representations. It fosters an international early-career network for PhD students and will also involve Master’s and Bachelor’s students, promoting interdisciplinary exchange across different academic levels.

A Unified Front for MASLD Innovation

This partnership advances MASLD (Metabolic Dysfunction‑Associated Steatotic Liver Disease) research through flexible PhD summer courses and ongoing support for doctoral researchers. It aims to foster innovative scientific collaboration and support early-career development.
Doubt in the Digital Age

This partnership focuses on addressing digital challenges. Through international collaboration, educational exchange, and thematic summer schools, it promotes democratic competencies and a reflective approach to digital information spaces.
Advanced Therapies with Living Drugs
Leads: Prof. Dr. Frank Buchholz & Stephanie Wieneke
Contact:
This partnership focuses on innovative health technologies. It offers interactive online lectures with biotech experts and supports international staff exchanges to advance new therapeutic approaches using living drugs.
