Cooperation in EUTOPIA
In order to strengthen cooperation with the EUTOPIA Partner Universities, Dresden University of Technology provides seed funds for joint research projects with EUTOPIA partners.
Examples of possible funding
Mobility and visits between TU Dresden and an EUTOPIA partner
Preparation of events at TU Dresden (workshops with the EUTOPIA partner, summer schools, conferences)
Joint applications for third-party funding for research projects with international partners
Travel and accommodation costs (DAAD flat rates are indicative)
Expenses for workshops, joint seminars, academic events in person and online
Participation in public events and conferences
Project-related public relations work and scientific communication
SHK/WHK, fee contracts, work contracts (Please note the activities eligible for SHK/WHK according to Circular D2/4/2016 and the currently applicable hourly rates according to Circular D2/1/2022 and the TUD Procurement Guidelines).
Submission of applications
All TU Dresden employees are eligible to apply and receive funding.
Projects with a maximum application volume of EUR 7,000 are eligible for funding; smaller amounts are also possible
Applications can be submitted until September 6th, 2024
Approved funds must be spent by the end of the 2024 financial year
Please note that funding must be spent within the current fiscal year, i.e. by the end of 2024 in accordance with TUD internal guidelines.
