What is an Innovation Challenge?
The EUTOPIA Innovation Challenges give students the opportunity to gain practical experience in the working world. Real problems and tasks from local companies or public institutions are the focus and are worked on together in international and interdisciplinary teams.
The Innovation Challenges take place twice a year, each time at a different EUTOPIA partner university. The companies and institutions are located in the region of the inviting university. This November, the Innovation Challenge will take place at CY Cergy Paris Université, France
What can you expect?
If you take part in this challenge, you will have the opportunity to come into contact with companies and public institutions to gain practical experience and work on an entrepreneurial project. You will work together with students from 10 different universities of the EUTOPIA Alliance to solve a real problem. There are also workshops on project design, intercultural training or input on storytelling and pitching.
Who can participate?
At each EUTOPIA partner university, up to 8 students are selected and allowed to participate. You should be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program at TU Dresden.
To participate, you must apply via this application form . You apply as an individual. No specialist knowledge or previous experience is necessary. Please note that the Innovation Challenge is only held in English and therefore the application must also be submitted in English.
The costs incurred for travel, accommodation and meals will be settled and reimbursed after the Challenge via a travel expense report. There are no costs for the Innovation Challenge itself.
Team composition
Each team will be composed of 5 students from different universities of the EUTOPIA Alliance and with different scientific backgrounds.
