The utilisation of synergies, the promotion of interdisciplinarity, the increase of self-responsibility and the establishment of flexibility: Driven by these objectives, the 14 faculties of TU Dresden are being re-organised under the umbrella of five schools. Guided by the principle of subsidiarity, academic diversity shall be safeguarded and at the same time the synergetic advantages in research, teaching and administration shall be taken advantage of.
