The father as breadwinner, who sees his children only shortly after work for dinner - these times are fortunately over. But modern fathers don't always have it easy: they often encounter prejudice and inflexibility from their colleagues at work, but also in their private lives. The TU Dresden would therefore like to strengthen the role of fathers in the long term and raise awareness for the equal distribution of roles in partnerships. As part of the re-auditing in the audit familiengerechte hochschule (family-friendly university audit), a workshop on the topic of "Strengthening the role of fathers" will be held for fathers from all status groups at TU Dresden on 07 June 2023 in the time from 12:30-14:00. The workshop will use creative methods to discuss needs and wishes, but also current challenges around the compatibility of family with work or study specifically from the perspective of fathers at TU Dresden and to think of possible solutions. The results of the workshop will be incorporated into the new action program "audit familiengerechte hochschule". Please register by May 26, 2023 at the latest using the online form.
