Female doctors
"Ärztinnen" (transl.: female doctors) is a forum that emerged from MEDiC at Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH. It is open to all female doctors from hospitals and practices as well as female medical students and connects them with each other and with (medical policy) organizations and other groups of female doctors. Once a month, the "Ärztinnen" meet in an open format to provide further training on scientific, medical or professional policy topics. There is also a protected space for collegial advice and mutual support. The "Ärztinnen" team organizes events, acquires speakers and seeks to establish contacts with other groups of female doctors. Female doctors from all sectors of medicine are welcome to take part in the meetings and listen to the speeches, get involved in the group, contribute to the organization and enrich "Ärztinnen" with diversity and motivation.
Quote from the "Ärztinnen": "We are very enthusiastic about the idea of a forum for female doctors, as we believe it is important for women to discuss specific professional problems, get to know each other, establish contacts and support each other. We want to help strengthen the role of female doctors and enable them to exert more influence and reach positions of responsibility."
