Dr. Future – Medical technology from Dresden Science

The “Dr. Future” exhibition showcases how continuous research and innovation can improve the quality of our life and even save lives. The exhibition highlights the advances in medical technology which are made possible by the collaboration between engineering and medicine, from prevention and diagnosis to surgery. With their inventions, Dresden scientists are helping to develop novel treatment options that can be used both in everyday life and in medical facilities.

Visitors can find out how artificial intelligence will support medical diagnosis, what ingenious implants are made of textiles and how novel medical tests are designed. There will also be a real ultrasound device, a digital nose and surgical equipment for the public to try out for themselves. The researchers present their projects in using interactive exhibits, science comics, videos and games.

Discussions and workshops will offer more in-depth information for children, young people and adults. Participation is free of charge. You can find out more on the website https://www.cosmo-wissenschaftsforum.de/

The exhibition has been designed for science enthusiasts of all ages from 12 years and upwards. It can be visited from Tuesday to Thursday between 1 pm and 6 pm.
