On the occasion of the upcoming International Women's Day, the Diversity Management of the TU Dresden cordially invites you to a special film evening ‘Female scientists in the Spotlight’ at the Kino im Kasten.

The inspiring documentary film ‘Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story’ will be screened. Hollywood star Hedy Lamarr was considered one of the most beautiful women of her time, but only a few people know about her pioneering inventions in the field of mobile phone technology. The film sheds light on her fascinating double life as an actress and scientist.

A special highlight of the evening is the premiere of the new TU Dresden-film:
‘Research, Inspire, Teach: Female Professors at TU Dresden’ - a film that focuses on excellent female scientists of our university and their research.

After the screening, there will be an opportunity to network.
