Seifert Lab: Bioinformatics Core Unit
The fast progress in the development of experimental technologies enables to measure molecular data of complex diseases with unprecedented detail. The analysis of such heterogeneous data sets requires specific bioinformatics tools to disentangle the complex interplay of different regulatory layers associated with disease-causing processes.
The Bioinformatics Core Unit offers bioinformatics consulting and supports the analysis of molecular high-throughput data. We further develop innovative bioinformatics and systems biology methods for the integrative analysis of molecular high-throughput data.

- MelBrainNet — Identification and validation of proteins and signaling pathways associated with therapy resistance of melanoma brain metastases (Translational Research Grant in Precision Oncology, NCT)
- Transmembrane receptors in focal adhesions — Identification of therapy resistance mechanisms and their deactivation in combination with radiochemotherapy (Deutsche Krebshilfe e.V.)
