Professional Field Exploration

The Professional Field Exploration (internship) is part of the licensing regulations for physicians from June 2002 and is therefore a mandatory course in the first study part (Vorklinik). The internship is offered at the Faculty of Medicine Carl Gustav Carus of the TU Dresden during the second semester, as part of module 2 "Patient - Physician", in the form of excursions and internships in different health care institutions.

The internships are carried out in small groups with a duration of one semester hour per week or 7 internships per student.
