100 Jahre GAMM: A scientific art exhibition

On the occasion of the 100th jubilee of GAMM (Society of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics), this exhibition shows artifacts of the academic heritage, scientific and art collections of TU Dresden, selected artworks of regional and international artists as well as installations fusing art, science and technology. 

Find out how AI interprets this connection, how symmetry and phase transitions inspire artworks and how geometric objects change collectively. Interact with a fluidic structure, explore historical calculation machines, moving models of mechanisms and gear, a new exhibit of the Erlebnisland Mathematik and get to know personalities who have shaped GAMM.

The exhibition takes place at TU Dresden HSZ room 304
during the GAMM conference
from May 30th - June 2nd with a midissage on June 1st at 7pm.

The exhibition is open to the public.
