Female perspectives on challenges in physics studies and professional life: Get-Together with Prof. Michèle Heurs on 28.06.2022
Prof. Michèle Heurs is the invited speaker at the Physics Colloquium in the Physics Department on 28.065.2022. The topic of her talk is "In space, no one can hear you scream: Gravitational Waves – news from the Universe" (4:40 pm, zoom access data in pdf)). Michèle Heurs is a researcher at Leibniz Universität Hannover and at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute). She is involved in the proposal for the German Center for Astrophysics (DZA), which is running in the competition for a large-scale research center in Lusatia.
After the colloquium (6:00 p.m.), students and staff are invited to a get-together with Michèle Heurs to talk to the speaker personally and exchange views on female perspectives on challenges in studies and professional life. The get-together will take place in room REC/B101, and online participation is also possible (zoom access details in pdf).
