SNOM - Optical Near-field microscopy
Optical near-field microscopy (SNOM) allows for the optical examination of surface way beyond the conventional diffraction limit. Particularly when utilizing light with long wavelengths in the infrared and THz-regime, we can reach record resolution of 1/4600 of the wavelength. read more
