Presentation of the institute on 8.12.2025

On Tuesday, December 8, 2025, the IKTP will introduce itself to interested students: From 16:40 to 18:10, an institute presentation will take place in the BZW, room A 253. The event offers an ideal opportunity to get to know the Institute and the specialization.

The event will start with a short overview lecture on the spectrum of nuclear and particle physics. Afterwards, everyone is invited to exchange ideas at the information stands of the working groups and gain direct insights into current research.

The following working groups and subject areas will be represented at the event:

• Experimental particle physics

• Particle Physics

• Theoretical elementary particle physics

• Nuclear physics

• Radiation physics

• Felsenkeller accelerator laboratory

• Laser particle acceleration of the Institute for Radiation Physics (HZDR)

• Accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS, HZDR)
